Hi there! I am Dr. Danielle, a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor, and founder of By Design Integrative Medicine. I work with individuals looking to support gut health, hormone balance, fertility and anti-aging health through a whole-body, root-cause approach. Our mission is simple: positively redefine your health experience. Here at By Design, I combine the science of modern medicine with the foundations of natural healing. In addition to a thorough intake, where I take the time to understand your medical history and current concerns, I utilize both conventional and functional medicine lab testing, innovative therapies, and a caring heart to address a wide variety of common concerns and chronic conditions. I also offer my signature cupping and gua sha rituals to those who are looking to improve facial puffiness, fine lines and complexion or neck and back relaxation through the art of lymphatic drainage, collagen stimulation, and muscle release. If you are ready to take the guessing game off of your hands and get direction in your health journey, let me be your “FBI agent” in your health. Head on over to my web page where you can learn more, book a complimentary discovery call, or send an email inquiry. I look forward to connecting!

I am a family practice medical professional with a rich multicultural and diverse background in healthcare. My medical journey began in Mexico, where I completed my initial training, and continued in Germany during my postgraduate studies. There, I gained hands-on experience. My own personal journey led me through burnout and health challenges, which compelled me to explore new approaches to health and recovery. This experience transformed my understanding of well-being and inspired me to uncover natural, alternative, and effective ways to heal, restore vitality, and regain my personal power. I discovered the transformative potential of integrating natural biological medical modalities into patient care. This sparked my passion for holistic medicine, leading me to pursue certifications in the U.S. in Anti-Aging Medicine, Medical Aesthetics, Natural Ayurvedic Medicine, and Functional Medicine. Today, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve balanced, fulfilling lives through personalized care. My approach emphasizes: A comprehensive exploration of medical history, including nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management. Advanced diagnostic support through targeted laboratory testing for precise care plans. Guiding patients on transformative journeys toward optimal health and wellness. I am passionate about helping my patients thrive, combining evidence-based practices with holistic methodologies to create accessible, enlightening paths to well-being. I look forward to connecting with you on this journey toward a healthier, more vibrant life.

The red light used in the panels produce wavelengths that penetrates deep into the skin and tissue layers to stimulate cell production. The light penetrates the skin to jumpstart tissue recovery by becoming more active. Near infrared light at 850nm which is outside the visible light spectrum, penetrates much deeper within your body, as much as 4 inches!
Light therapy is an effective treatment backed by science and clinical research.
Red light is thought to work by producing a biochemical effect in cells that strengthens the mitochondria. The mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell — it’s where the cell’s energy is created. The energy carrying molecule found in the cells of all living things is called ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
By increasing the function of the mitochondria using red light, a cell can make more ATP. With more energy, cells can function more efficiently, rejuvenate themselves, and repair damage, while also improving circulation and oxygenation. This spurs quick healing in skin and muscle tissue, reducing inflammation fast.
Essentially, because red light helps the mitochondria in muscular cells complete their respiration cycle more efficiently, it makes the muscles suffer less fatigue. Improving the mitochondrial respiration cycle leads to better activation and formation of the muscle stem cells that eventually develop into healthy muscle tissue.
Muscle cells require a great deal of energy, and grow and strengthen through a process of tears and repairs. Light therapy helps your body produce and use energy more efficiently. Supporting circulation and inflammation reduction with light therapy can also help you heal and recover after injuries and workouts.
Light therapy treatments help your body’s natural inflammation process as you recover from illness or injury. Red light therapy also supports arthritis and joint pain relief by improving blood flow to damaged tissues.
Light therapy is quick. Joovv recommends 10 minutes per treatment area. It’s also super easy, all you have to do is sit or stand in front of the device and your body and cells take in the light.

Hi, I’m Kelley, a wife, mom, nutrition consultant, hairstylist-living aligned within my body, mind, and spirit. It wasn’t always this way and I’d be lying if said it was easy. It takes a commitment to myself (and my future self) to achieve by making daily choices that intentionally align with my goals. Some days are harder than others, but I continue to give myself grace and to be patient with the process. As a former perfectionist, I embrace the mantra “progress over perfection” which has helped in those moments.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a life-long passion for health and wellness, but was always deterred by my own intimidation of where or how to start. The abundance of information felt overwhelming. This is where I come in. I want to eliminate the intimidation, to partner with you as we create your own individualized transformation plan that you can integrate into your daily life.
My inspiration comes from my own transformation and the passion I have to help others. As a hairstylist, I’ve spent years making people look good on the outside, now I’d love the opportunity to make you feel as good on the inside.

Hi, and thank you for being here! I began my career at the Mayo Clinic as a pediatric nurse in 2011. As much as I enjoyed the experience working with families from all around the world, I quickly realized that our modern healthcare system's reactive approach was taking a toll on both my patients and myself.
While searching for advanced degree options, I started getting acupuncture treatment for insomnia related to working alternating day and night shifts. Acupuncture and the other modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) quickly opened my eyes to a comprehensive system of medicine, and a whole new approach to health. Although 3000+ years old to other cultures, TCM was new to me, and didn’t take much convincing that this was the philosophy of medicine I wanted to both live, and practice for my patients. I am still practicing nursing, and feel fortunate to have my feet in both doors of medicine.
Growing up on one of Minnesota’s lakes, I enjoy as much time outside as I can get. Gravel roads and wooded trails are home to me, and practicing a philosophy of medicine that sees beauty in the relationship to our environment is truthfully fulfilling.
I believe that a happy, healthy life is achievable through community engagement, ancestral nutrition, moving, meditation, and guiding one’s Qi into balance.
When I’m not practicing medicine, I enjoy hiking, camping, foraging, cooking, traveling, singing silly camp songs, spending time with my husband, son, and zoo of furry animals, and enjoying all of the beauty that southern Minnesota has to offer.
Conditions I enjoy treating: stress, anxiety, insomnia, menstrual health, fatigue, prenatal and postnatal care, digestion, and preventative health
