About Us
-
Hi there! I'm Katie. I am a holistic physical therapist who is extremely passionate about helping your body heal. I specialize in fascial release and love integrating holistic practices into your customized treatment session. My desire to help heal others started back in high school as a competitive 3 sport athlete, constantly dealing with nagging injuries and illnesses over my career (that I’ll share for another time). This drive got me through undergrad and graduate school and continues to fuel my fire for bettering my health and those around me.
After graduating with my doctorate degree in 2016 from Concordia University of Wisconsin, I hit the ground running, immersing myself in several new trainings and techniques, searching for the best methods to heal my patients and honestly, some of my own issues. A few years in, and I still had this burning feeling there had to be more out there. That is when I came across fascial counterstrain over 5 years ago, working at a small private practice in Somerset, WI. In this season, I took in and absorbed as much information as I could, attended over 12 fascial trainings and courses to really advance my skills to the next level - all for the purpose of getting my patients better faster and for longer.
Along the journey, I have witnessed such amazing healing from fascial release and I love how gentle, yet impactful this work is. I have grown an even deeper appreciation for how intricate and purposefully God designed our bodies and what a gift it is that our bodies CAN HEAL. I would be honored to be a part of your healing team and look forward to hearing your story.

Meet your PT
Where did you attend PT school?
University of Washington- SeattleWhat patient populations do you treat?
I am passionate about empowering women in all walks of life! I have a special focus on prenatal and postpartum mothers. As a mother myself, I know how valuable time, health and mobility are on a daily basis. Our bodies are truly amazing and resilient! In addition to women’s health, I have a specialization in neonatal/infant therapy. With ongoing experience working in the highest level NICU and infant inpatient units, I have a special perspective of the medical journey a NICU grad and their families experience. I love helping moms and their babies succeed, with the convenience of a “one stop shop”.
Where do you call home?
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities! I did adventure away for 10 years, though am so happy to be back home!Where can we catch you on a day off?
I am probably starting my day with a cup of coffee and snuggles with my daughter. You can catch me walking my 2 poodles with my husband, finding a great lunch spot or hiking some trails.
I love going on bike rides, baking, dancing, and participating in sprint triathlon races when I can!
